Chile has among the most important natural and cultural attractions in the Western Hemisphere, but for various reasons has not until recently determined to leverage these in the interest of sustainable tourism. La Paz Group has partnered with Dalberg on a project funded by IADB in Chile’s most important wine region, Maule, to diversify the local economy beyond wine production into high value-added, experiential tourism.

Entrepreneurs in the southern tip of the country, called Magallanes (aka Patagonia & Antarctica), are pursuing a sustainable tourism development strategy focused on leveraging local nature and adventure attractions to diversify their economy.
